Subscription Terms
These Subscription Terms describe the pricing, billing, and renewal rules that apply when you purchase any paid plan inside the 12levels mobile application (the "Service"). These Terms supplement and do not replace the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. By starting a subscription or making any in-app purchase, you accept these Subscription Terms in full.
1. Provider and Payment Processor
The subscription service is provided by Iuvenalii Khlopkov (PE) (the "Provider"). All payments for in-app purchases are processed by Apple Inc. through Apple's In-App Purchase system. The Provider does not receive or store your payment card details — Apple is solely responsible for charging, storing, and refunding payment instruments.
2. Available Plans
The Service offers two types of paid access:
- Auto-renewable subscriptions — recurring access to "12levels Pro" with periodic billing (e.g. monthly or annual cycles) and free trial offerings for eligible new subscribers.
- Non-consumable one-time purchases — a single payment for permanent access (subject to Section 7).
The current set of plans, prices, billing cycles, free trial durations, and any introductory offers is displayed dynamically inside the Service's paywall and on the App Store product page before any purchase is confirmed. The price you actually pay is always shown by Apple in its confirmation sheet prior to charging. Apple automatically converts the reference price into your local currency based on Apple's regional pricing matrix.
The Provider may add, remove, or modify available plans over time. Any such change applies only to new purchases or, for existing subscribers, after explicit consent or sufficient prior notice as described in Section 8.
3. What You Get With a Paid Plan
A paid plan ("12levels Pro") unlocks the full feature set of the Service. Any content, lessons, and tools that are gated behind the paywall in the free experience become available without restriction for the active period of the paid plan. The current authoritative list of features included in Pro is the one shown on the in-app paywall and on the App Store product page; this list may evolve over time as the Service grows or changes. The Provider commits not to materially reduce the value of an active paid plan during the period that has already been paid for.
4. Free Trials and Introductory Offers
When a free trial or introductory offer is available, its length and terms are shown on the in-app paywall and on the App Store product page before purchase. Per Apple's eligibility rules, an introductory offer can be redeemed only once per subscription group per Apple ID.
- The trial begins immediately when you confirm the purchase in Apple's confirmation sheet.
- During the trial, you have full access to "12levels Pro" features at no charge.
- If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, Apple will automatically charge your Apple ID payment method at the price displayed at purchase, and the paid subscription will begin.
- If notifications are enabled, the Service will attempt to send an in-app reminder before the trial ends, in addition to the standard Apple notifications. However, you remain solely responsible for managing your subscription and cancelling on time, regardless of whether such a reminder is delivered. Non-delivery of a reminder (for any reason, including but not limited to disabled system notifications, device offline, push delivery failure, or a defect in the Service) does not entitle you to a refund or to extension of the trial.
- If you cancel during the trial, you retain access until the trial's scheduled end date, after which the subscription does not start and no charge is made.
5. Auto-Renewal of Subscriptions
Recurring subscription plans offered by the Service are auto-renewable subscriptions. This means:
- Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Apple will charge your Apple ID payment method within the 24-hour window before each renewal.
- You can review your renewal date, current price, and next charge date at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, or in System Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases → Subscriptions on a Mac.
6. How to Cancel
You can cancel an auto-renewable subscription at any time using either:
- Inside the app: open Profile → "Manage Subscription". This opens Apple's subscription management sheet.
- Directly in iOS: open the Settings app → tap your name at the top → tap "Subscriptions" → choose 12levels → tap "Cancel Subscription".
- On a Mac: System Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases → Manage → Subscriptions.
Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not refund the current period. You retain access to "12levels Pro" features until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, your account reverts to the free tier automatically.
7. Lifetime Plan
"12levels Pro — Lifetime" is a non-consumable in-app purchase, not a subscription. Key differences from subscriptions:
- One-time payment at the price displayed on the paywall and on the App Store product page at the time of purchase; no recurring charges, ever.
- No auto-renewal. No cancellation needed.
- "Lifetime" means: for as long as the 12levels application continues to operate and Apple's In-App Purchase infrastructure supports your purchase. If the Service ceases operation, no refund obligation arises beyond what is required by applicable consumer protection law and Apple's policies.
- Apple allows the Lifetime purchase to be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID via Profile → "Restore Purchases".
- If you also have an active auto-renewable subscription when you buy Lifetime, the Service will recommend cancelling that subscription to avoid duplicate charges; the cancellation itself must be performed through Apple's subscription management as described in Section 6.
8. Price Changes
- The Provider may change subscription prices for new subscribers at any time. New prices apply only to purchases made after the change.
- For existing subscribers, Apple requires explicit consent before any auto-renewal at an increased price. You will receive a notification from Apple and must affirmatively agree, otherwise your subscription will not renew at the new price and will end on its next scheduled renewal date.
- Price decreases apply automatically to subsequent renewals.
- The price of an already-purchased period never changes retroactively.
9. Refunds
- Refunds for in-app purchases are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with Apple's published refund policy.
- To request a refund, use Apple's "Report a Problem" page at https://reportaproblem.apple.com within the eligibility window defined by Apple (typically 90 days from the date of charge for subscriptions, longer for one-time purchases in some jurisdictions).
- The Provider has no ability to issue refunds independently of Apple. We will not request that Apple deny a properly substantiated refund request.
- If Apple issues a refund, the Provider will receive a notification (via App Store Server Notifications) and will revoke the corresponding "12levels Pro" entitlement on your account.
- Mandatory consumer protection rights granted by the laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
10. Family Sharing
Family Sharing for in-app subscriptions is not enabled in this version of the Service. Each subscription is tied to a single Apple ID. Family Sharing for the Lifetime non-consumable is also disabled. The Provider may enable Family Sharing for future products at its discretion; this will be communicated through the Service and through these Subscription Terms.
11. Linking Your Purchase to Your Account
When you complete an in-app purchase, Apple sends the Provider a signed
transaction receipt. The Service does not receive your full Apple ID or
payment information. To link the Apple transaction to your 12levels account,
the Service generates a deterministic anonymous identifier
(appAccountToken) derived from your internal User ID using a
one-way cryptographic transformation. This identifier is sent to Apple as
part of the purchase request so that future webhook notifications (renewal,
refund, cancellation) can be matched back to your account without revealing
any personal data to Apple beyond what Apple already collects as the payment
processor. See the Privacy Policy §2.4 for full
details on payment data handling.
12. Service Interruptions
The Provider strives for high availability of paid functionality but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Brief interruptions caused by maintenance, third-party infrastructure outages (Apple, Cloudflare, Supabase, OpenAI, Anthropic), or force majeure do not constitute a breach of these Terms. Extended outages affecting the entire paid feature set may entitle affected subscribers to a refund through Apple's refund process, subject to Apple's policies.
13. Changes to These Subscription Terms
The Provider may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. Material changes (price increases for existing subscribers, removal of significant "Pro" features, changes to refund or cancellation rules beyond what is required by applicable law or Apple's policies) will be announced in the app and may require renewed consent before your next renewal. The version number and effective date at the top of this document indicate the currently active version. By continuing to use a paid plan after a non-material change, you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Subscription Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia (country of the Provider's registration), without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights granted to you by the law of your country of residence.
